About Us
Our Story and Vision
Founded in 2017, The Maddie and Noah Foundation was established to provide support and advocate for the parents and families of babies who require specialist neonatal care following birth.
The idea evolved after the personal experience of the Founder Vikki Wilson who lost twins (Maddie and Noah) at 5 days old and 13 days old.
After a brief time spent on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Vikki felt that she had no direct support during this time, it was quite an isolating experience and a very scary time. She now wishes to help alleviate some of those feelings for other parents. Although, our babies are the nurse’s number one priority, during these unprecedented times, the mental well-being and care of the parents can sometimes be left unattended. Luckily Vikki had the support from Mandi and Russell (the twins godparents) during her neonatal journey which is why they decided to launch The Maddie and Noah Foundation with the view to support families through every milestone and every hurdle.
The Maddie and Noah Foundation is here to provide relief to those parents and families of babies in ill health and receiving care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit following birth through the provision of care packages, offering a safe space for parents to unload whether that may be in a form of: tea / coffee catch ups, well-being check ins or just a conversation with someone who understands the difficulties faced by neonate parents and their families.
The Maddie and Noah Foundation is rooted in the belief that we all have an inherent responsibility to make a meaningful difference.
The foundation has been funded by Vikki herself and now relies solely on public donations to continue its purpose.
